About herbalism: ( warning: SPOILER! )

The best place to start is the 3 bushes forming a line, near KB bridge. You can change as soon as you get the "overharvested" message.

Once you get to 50-75, you can take your pouch and move near torvok - a lil' bit north - and you'll find better bushes here, and better stuff.

Once you get to 150-200 you can leave to the Wold. my favourite place is the nine trees forming a square near Halerma. There you have to harvest until... lvl 450 ( ouch. )

Then, ALLELUIA! you can go to Silver Lake. There's no trick there: just harvest as close as you can from Gent beach to get good wood (T3->T6) but no to close so that the wood doesn't get you.
I haven't made any maps yet for Silver Lake cause i only found ONE location. please be patient!

You can also find herbs at the graveyard on the left side by the column. At the Carthas bridge and at the ruins in the Highlands. In Kendall Falls I have found herbs to the left of the road before the "floating tree" going into Silver Lake. In the Kharentian Bluffs I have found herbs all around the Monastery.(in patches of flowers) I have found many places in the Harrowed Wold.

I have decided to create a ranking system for all the herbs I am harvesting. The ranks will be Weeds, (common and abundant) Common, (not nearly as abundant but easy to find) and Exotic. (of course this means rare and difficult to find) I will also be posting under this topic all the herbs that I have found and where.

All that are wanting to herbal, should do this quest but you can not have any negative majik (necro, sorc, etc) need 1 in Druid, it gives you an opportunity to play with the Dryad's and recieve a mod for herbalism (+10) and is the only mod for herbal.

Circlet of Natures Favor- This beaded circlet provides some head protection against elemental and spiritual attacks, and grants those close to nature, but penalizes Sorcerer's.

Acid/Burn/Freeze/Shock: 6/4/10%

Also mods herb +10

Penalizes a Sorcer -

As I approach lvl 300 in Herbalism, I have found that by exploring and attempting to harvest, whenever and where ever you can, can be very interesting and rewarding. I try to harvest anywhere that there are bushes, trees, flowers, just about anywhere.
I have , in my wanderings, found a few places that aren't on the 'tourist sites' that everyone seems to be writing about.
I will list all the paces I have found and update them as new ones are found.

Kajblood Plains:
Dragon's bones - NE of the keep near where Torvak stands is what Dommy calls "The Bush of Plenty" unless you have almost no skill at all, you will find herbs here. Search the bush itself from all sides. I have also found herbs near the rear 2 rib bones of the dragon (west side).
Adventurer's Guild - Around the trees at the entrance and along the east side. The best spot seems to me to be the large tree north of the line of trees between the building and the river. I found something new (a Lycoan cloak!) next to the southern-most tree, just the other day.
Outside KajBlood: across the road from the southern steps, there is what looks like corn growing. Harvest in there, especially where goblings seem to hang out at, and you will find Gobling Moss aplenty (great for archers or anyone that needs a dex boost (+5)).
The Keep: I have found herbs around the outside of the Keep, although rarely. one of the spots I've gone to is a little alcove on the West side, where a tree grows. wood and other herbs can be found, but it is not a lot.
Near the Bandit camp: If you exit the keep and go due east to the river, you will see a set of stairs. Dive in and climb the stairs. In front of you is a tree that is about as good as the Dragon's head. I have also found most herbs around the trees lining the river all the way back south to the bridge.
The Bridge: IMO a bit over rated, but easy to harvest unless you are a very low level toon in which case you will be very buzy fighting Slithers (keep the skins!)
Graveyard: climb the stairs until you are on the porch. to your left is a bush, search it.

The Bluffs:
Mons: I have found herbs in most areas that have flowers growing there. Just don't get too close to the Rav camp! I speak from experience! There are trees in the corners around the NE part of the building (left of entrance when facing it). I have found many new herbs there, including beans of strength.
this is an area that I should look at a bit more.

Kendall Falls:
I haven't much looked here, mostly because I'm usually passing thru to Silver Lake, or the Scyth pit to mine. However, there is one very good spot if you get over 200. West of the "floating tree" on the road to Silver Lake, You can find many rare herbs, including roses.

The Highlands:
The bridge near Carthas: Look in the bushes on both ends of the bridge.
Around Carthas: I have found herbs all around Carthas itself, but in limited quantity.
Ruins: On the east side if the ruins is a very large rock (actually part of the wall), there is one spot where there is a tree very close to the rock. look between the rock and the tree. I have found the seeds for the druid Dryad Quest there, and have heard that that is where the rez flower is as well.

Harrowed Wold:
Ok, you should be at least skill level 150 before trying to find anything here, but that is what everyone else says. When I started here I tried a few times around 120 and found a few pieces of wood (Oake, Yewh), but not much else. when I came back, I was around 150, and did find more things, easier. There are so many places to try it is easier to generalize than give specifics, except these:
The group of trees just up the hill from Halerma. go all the way around each one until it says it looks barren. The Center tree is the richest area IMO. Which leads me to the generalities.
Just about anywhere there are trees, there are herbs. Look for the biggest tree around. It may be a subtle difference, but usually they are the ones in the center of the group.
WARNING! Be aware of your surroundings! Ents can move very fast and attack you before you know that they are there, so watch your radar! Same goes for Dire Kobolds. Slow moving dots are usually pixies, or dryads - no harm if you don't attack them- or they could be raging bears, which will get very close before attacking.
Note: on the west bank near the west fork of the river is the area where the Dires spawn around dawn, usually preceded by kobold apprentices.

I will have to go back and recheck many of these spots as well as new ones, and keep you posted.

These are some of my favorite places to hunt for Herbs, I hope you will find some new ones too, and post them here as well.

Aloha and Good Hunting!
