While in the tavern, I received a request from Cork to make a song about him and his exploits. Now, any of you who have met Cork will understand why I wrote this ballad > . It is a tavern song, best sung in alone on the verses, then in a group on the chorus. Music plays throughout the whole thing, even the comments interjected in.
The Ballad of Cork
Cork was a young adventurer, and many things he'd planned,
But I'm afraid dear friend of mine, that things got out of hand,
He was a little foolish, bit off more than he could chew,
And that is it, dear friend of mine, for this short song is through.
oh, wait did I say through?.....
Chorus:
Oh, Cork was strong, oh, Cork was brave,
Made people roll o'er in their grave,
He'd dig 'em up, and then they'd rave,
That's where we get undead.
Cork wanted something in the song to rhyme with Cash, and for me to sing a verse about collecting a bounty so......
Ol' Cork went to the tavern, to make a little cash,
Got carried out in buckets, for he wound up as mash.
There was a tiny bounty placed, upon his foolish head, (3 imperials)
And then, before you know it, why, poor Cork he wound up dead.
Chorus
hmmm..... he also wanted a verse about him getting a few million...
Ol' Cork he went a huntin', for a Goblin fine and green,
Wound up gettin' a few million.... daggers through the spleen.
Cork found there was a bounty, on a druid yes, did he,
Went to go and collect it, but, she was lvl 53.
Chorus:
Oh, Cork was strong, oh, Cork was brave,
Made people roll o'er in their grave,
He'd dig 'em up, and then they'd rave,
That's where we get undead.
Yes, Ladies and Gentlemen, he was that irritating. _________________ The gods are fools. I serve another. |
